Lonny Douglas Meinecke, Ph.D., is part of the adjunct psychology faculty at King University in Bristol, Tennessee. His research stresses reverence for childhood, and the need to honor biological life of every age and every kind, while Life is briefly here. Dr. Meinecke received his master's and doctorate in psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
His dissertation and continuing research challenge extant beliefs regarding the favoring of mental phenomena over biological phenomena. His research has found an unexpected societal benefit in the random practice of reverence and awe for simpler forms of life. These simple awes often produce a lasting awe for each other, despite being so insapient and so transitory in comparison. His research seeks to promote greater regard and deeper gratitude for the marginalized and imperfect individual - which humbled understanding often increases our gratitude and wonder for one another.
